The Lotus El Cheapo - You thought the Elise was light, this Mexican-made Lotus is made of papier-mâché. It crushes like a Piñata on impact, but a bunch of candy shoots out onto the road.
The Lotus Eaglet - very short wheelbase and overhangs, kind of like Lotus Eagle meets Smart For2 The Lotus Extinction - the last Lotus

The Lotus Emily
We at Lotus just felt like giving another car a girlie name. The Lotus Estrogen When another Lotus with a girlie name just isn't enough. The Lotus Extension When you need something extended. The Lotus Emphysema Drive it until you can no longer breathe. The Lotus Enfeeble Getting in and out of it will make you feeble! The Lotus Entrapment You can get in but you might not get out. |

Lotus Entozoa
Internal animal parasites, esp: the intestinal worms "That queezy feeling that you get after hitting every apex on a road coarse, that's not motion sickness, its probably intestinal worms." Lotus Erepsin Intestinal Juice known to be a mixture of exopeptidases. "Erepsin may help you digest a you dinner, but nothing helps you break down a grueling day at the office like a ride home in your lotus." Last edited by madden : 07-19-2008 at 08:44 AM. |

Background: At college I had a friend who would end conversations by saying "E. A. D.". This acronym translates to "Eat A D*ck".
so my submission: The Lotus EAD "If you don't like the name you can EAD" |

I'm surprised no one has said "Lotus Erection" yet with a suitable caption

Lots names are often sort of French, like Eclat, Elan, Exige and Esprit. So, I suggest:
Lotus Entr'acte - right between the Elise and the Esprit. Lotus Enchante - A charming car. Lotus Engagee - for the committed Lotus Epee - a rapier of a car (this could actually be a Lotus name!) Lotus Epoque - a car for its time Lotus Escargot - for the home market small motor version Lotus Esperance - the car we hope will turn us around Lotus Etats-Unis - the US version Lotus Exuberance - irrational but fun Actually, I bet that Lotus uses one of these names or something that sounds a lot like one of them so I should get the tee shirt. |

I don't see why they wouldn't just call it the Eagle now that it's recognized as the Eagle. It suits the American market as well.
