2006 / 2007 ECU compatibility

Long story short, I need to temporarily remove my BWR Supercharger from my 2006 Elise and revert it back to NA configuration. I got a hold of a 2007 ECU from a friend. Are they compatible? Can I plug in the 07 ECU into my 06 Elise after removing the supercharger?
