ECU swaps Elise S2

Hi Guys

Do you know if it is possible to swap ecu between 2 Lotus Elise S2 without getting trouble with the immobilizer system etc.

immobiliser is a seperate unit from the ecu - i've had no probs swapping ecu's around on an 07 elise.

christian, i replied to your email this morning, i don't use that address very often.

but i'll repeat it here just in case.

you can swap between the same model years and car types, but the mosel numbers you listed to me are for different model ECUS , the 05F is a T4, the 029F is a T4E and they're physically different, so even if you could plug them in, which you couldn't, you'd still face a difference with the manual throttle vs DBW.
