Need help: Apexi Power FC

I contacted Apexi yesterday to inform the needs of the harness for Elise to hook up with Power FC.

They are interested in doing some research and asking me to provide an ECU diagram. Just wondering if anyone has a such thing?

Please let me know.

Thx!

Little Rocket is the only one who has done it so far. Wiring and connectors are problems, unlike in other cars using the 2ZZ-GE, but he's solved all that for the Elise. I think the way it stands currently, the Power FC functions in tandem with the stock Elise ECU, with the Eliise ECU controlling gauges and a few other things. I have a Power FC in my 2ZZ-GE engine swapped MR2 Spyder.

Yes, I understand wiring and connectors are problems that is what Apexi is going to look for.

Got it. Thanks all.
I will work with Apexi to see if they can make a harness for Elise.
It's going to be very interesting if we can use Power FC. $1200 w/ commander which will be the cheapest standalone ECU for us so far. Look forward to seeing that happens.

If anyone can find the plugs for me to purchase a lot of I will GIVE you a harness and a tuned pfc. I have the wiring diagrams done as well as an existing harness manufacturer ready to tackle the job. I just need the hardware.

LittleRocket... My harness is already cut. Do you have this PFC all sorted out. Can I just slice it into my current harness without the connectors and have my car up and running?

Are you/they aware that the 2005 and 2006 is different? They will need to make 2 different harnesses with 2 different sets of connectors.

We took some big delays due to bad pistons from Mahle and then waiting for the complete redesign of the manifold from turbokits.

All the parts should be in hand by next week.

I will definately call you about the PFC. I need to get that one last thing sorted out. I think its the best way for me to go econmical and practical wise..Thanks again!

Finally Apexi has some progress on the harness design now. They are looking for the solution to hook it up with gauge cluster. Anyone has an idea how to do it?

Also their harness is not going to be a all weather unit. They are asking opinions wheather to re-locate the ECU into the cabin or put an weather proof enclosure system to cover it? Feedback is welcomed.

its can bus, so all they have to do is send out the data in the right format at 1Mbps, the format is documented on here.

since the engine bay is open to the elements, it needs to be rain proof.

I could not find the doc about the format. Can you please point me where it is?
Thanks!
