Thanks for the info... If you can post close-up photos both of the emblems themself and attached to the steering wheel, that would be super. If they look good, I'll go for two!

This is a great offer.

Count me in if the price comes down to $25 or below.

Wheel ones are a different thread. This thread is for interest in a steering wheel one.
The wheel inserts will fit if they are the same size as the standard wheels ~2"
They are $40 for a set. They are stick over, or you can pop your existing ones out of their caps and put them on.

Well there were a couple maybe's on there and people wanting to see them after they are made. Looks like there is enough interest to go ahead on these though at the $20 price point for me to most likely break even. The important thing is collecting that many payments. I need to confirm a couple things first so if anyone sent a payment and it didn't work out I would just refund. It will probably be around 3 weeks or so before these would be ready to send.
Shipping will be $1.

If you don't want to stick it on top of your existing emblem, I guess you could always put a pick behind it, pry it out and put this one in it's place.

So $21 total.

Could that be used to replace the badge on the nose or would it not survive being exposed to the elements? I assume they match the set for the wheels too?

I looked at this a long time ago as everyone who had the wheel and nose badges wanted these. The federal cars have airbags ...the airbag horn has clips on the badge you cannot take the badge off without risking the airbag deployment and also probably invalidating the warranty or anything. I spoke the to company that makes the other badges for me (this being the same company that makes them for one of our favourite car companies) on these maybe 6 weeks ago and they actually wont make the 39mm size for me knowing its for the US maket and replacemet horn badge. It opens them up apparently to being sued ( no suprise there then). Anyways as it stands I can get them made elsewhere but I wasn't prepared to use another company that I didn't know the quality of their work. This isn't meant to detract from Sd's post as I only heard good things, its just for info.

Thanks for the info Trickster. I'm glad I didn't get a face full of airbag and have my picture on the "Epic Fail" thread. I'm sure these will be great the way SDD intended them to be used (placed on top of the OEM badge). I can't wait to get them.
