This next picture gives you a good idea of the range of these BC Coilovers. This is close to the lowest setting. The first pictures are about 1in lower then stock.

They are a great company but this is not the same setup on the evo x the evo setup has a different design and spring rate so you can not compare.

As far as quailty goes they are just as good as every other avg. coilover company but what makes BC Racing stand out from the others is there customer service, warranty exchange & rebuilding cost which from what i recall is very cheap vs a high end coilover setup like JRZ.

I hope my review helps out.

the review i saw said that the fronts had to be mounted upside down from what an elise/exige designed damper should be mounted.

what's up with the upside down mounting? Can someone weigh in on that? The price is attractive...

The "upside down" mounting is actually standard mounting. Its the way many cars come, and the way many aftermarket systems are set-up. The shock cartridge is located at the bottom of the assembly, and the adjustment for rebound is made at the top.

Our setup on the shop Evo X is this same way, with the 2-way coilover setup.
