Looks like I jumped the gun on that piece a bit. The cover in the pic is a prototype and the valve cover is still being designed. They are coming, but I don't have any more info than that to give. sorry.

Thumbs up Jacob IS good for something - who knew?

I think the splitter actually looks pretty damn good (and I'm usually opposed to the splitter look), and the center console looks great too (remember: I hate CF normally). Good stuff Jacob.

However I lump the CF dash cap in the same category with the Alcatera covers: M-A-F-U-G-L-Y

Is the price above for both panels or for one?

Can you just use the panel without a teardrop insert?

I would also assume that there shouildn't be any reason why you can't use them without the insert.

That said you know what they say about assuming anything?

Price is for the pair!!!

Any pics from under the car showing how the splitter is mounted/how it fits underneath?

Eric you need to change your avatar. I feel like I'm talking to myself.

OK, OK back to the original question. I don't have a pic. I don't have access to a lift and it's impossible to take a picture that makes any sense from the distance of the ground to the bottom of the clam. sorry.

Bit of a gap where it meets the top of the door.

Ok obligatory weight question- do we have weights on all these parts vs. stock? - and do you have a picture of that panel naked, uninstalled without a teardrop inset?

Thanks!

No weight savings if any they are very minimal.

I already asked.

Wow, I'm in love with the matte c/f. That looks perfect. The glossy or "wet" stuff always looks to bling to me. This is perfect. This is how c/f should have been offered from the beginning of the trend.

If the fitment were a little better I'd be all over the entire interior kit. Looks like mainly the door panels are the issues. But after seeing that I'd want to see all-angles of every other piece. (might leave off the dash panel...that's a bit over the top for my tastes...but everything else is perfect).

Why do some pics show an OEM style leather wrapped steering wheel, and some show one wrapped in alcantara? Where does one get that alcantara wheel?

Great thread!!

Trying to get a better pic of the door panel. I don't know if that's an early proto type or not.

The front Elise front splitter fit is really very good. Not sure where you are seeing the gap. Could be shadows.

The alcantara wheel was done custom.

I take back what I said... went to lunch and while driving inspected my door panels... the driver side panel does indeed have a gap running along the top edge. The passenger panel is fairly flush.

If others report the same thing, then he prob just cast based on the OEM piece.. which means it is "supposed" to have that gap. So maybe it's not a prototype issue.

Would be nice to retain the sueded piece on the corner of the door, with the c/f. But I guess that could risk too many different surfaces in one place (in which case the door panel center piece could be redone in alcantara/suede).

The small gap on the inner diameter of the surround's mounting surface (visible in the picture above) would need to be remedied though. Do you have more pics/angles you can post of the interior pieces? Seeing them all installed at one time would also be beneficial. The more pics, the better. I'm drooling over this right now. (so wait..maybe I DON'T need more pics, to sooth my aching wallet...lol)
