Sale on Voltphreaks VPH400 3.5 pound battery till end of 2008
Hi all,
We are having a special announced only on LotusTalk for the Voltphreaks VPH400 battery, at $499. Just mention your LotusTalk name when checking out, and you will get a refund after your purchase. This is only for the VPH400 model, with either SAE posts or 3/8 male studs, no LVC switch, and a 12.7V LVC setting only. Price good till end of 2008. Sale may end when inventory runs out. For more details on the battery, see here: https://s.p10.hostingprod.com/@www.v...products_id=87 ![]() (image shows M6 male terminals, but sale is only for SAE top posts (Standard car battery connector) or 3/8 male studs which weighs about 1/8 pound less than SAE top posts) Thanks! - Tony (voltphreaks.com) |

I'd recommend the switch for those of you in cold climates. The lower cutoff will allow you to run the lights longer (to warm the battery) before the battery shuts itself off.
And you guys should jump on this deal - it's a terrific (featherweight) battery, and Tony is a great guy to work with! ![]() How many other batteries let you save well over 20lbs from stock? ![]() Also, being able to work with battery cables while the battery is switched "off" is lifesaver. Literally! |

To be honest, you may not even need one... I have mine attached with industrial velcro, and the thing isn't going anywhere. It simply doesn't weigh enough to pull free like other batteries.

Keep in mind, with the LVC, you wouldn't return to a dead car, even if you left the car with the alarm on for a month, it would still start. What the LVC would do is turn off the battery before it's fully drained, leaving enough to still start the car a few times. This also prevents overdischarge, which will damage/ruin batteries (lead-acid batteries especially shouldn't be discharged below 9V). - Tony |
