SSR Type F Euro in Elise/Exige Fitments

SSR has just released the Type F in Elise/Exige Fitments, and since I am an official SSR Dealer, thought I would run a promotion.

First 5 people interested in a set of SSR Type F Euro can get a very good, discounted price. I would also be interested in working with any local customers in doing photoshoots of their cars with the wheels as well.

Sizing:

Front: 16 x 7J, Offset + 32, Weight: 11.8 LBS or

17 x 7.5J, Offset + 42, Weight: 15.6 LBS

Rear: 17 x 9J, Offset + 25, Weight: 16.4 LBS

Colors: Standard color is "Searchlight silver", other colors at an additional cost of $100/wheel MSRP.

Available Colors at extra:

-White
-Black
-Flat Black
-Orange
-Yellow
-Red
-Touring Gold
-Blue
-Dark Blue
-Gunmetallic
-Flat Gunmetallic
-Bronze
-Flat Bronze
-Hyper Silver
-Starbright Silver

Centercaps are optional item, and do cost extra. This is a great wheel for someone who wants a very light (SSF Forged/HTM barrel), durable, strong track wheel that is just as good as any other high performance wheel.

NEW UPDATE: **Centercap pricing is $160 / set MSRP.

**Wait Time: 6-8 Weeks as told by SSR since these wheels are new, and not yet in stock.

**Wheels are TPMS compatible.

Retail pricing (per wheel) is listed in the site here: SSR Wheels - SSR Type-F Euro

16 x 7J / 17 x 9J is $2320 USD MSRP.

PM me for special pricing.

I love these wheels. Too bad I bought a set last year and there were no Lotus sizing at the time. I would for sure by a set of these especially since the fronts weigh about same as RACs and the rears are 9" wide. I'll save these for later.

I believe you can fit easily 255 on a 9 wide wheel. I have even heard of some people fitting 265, but I think it may balloon out.

But, it really boils down to the tire manufacturer, as each manufacturer is different. I know toyo says their 255 sizing is like a 265 in their competitors' tire.

Will the rear wheels fit without flaring the fenders?

They will fit with the right tire size and alignment. Running too big a tire can cause problems.

EDIT: 245/255 tires are pretty square on a 9 inch wide wheel. Can't see the reason to want more than that.

Thanks. Does the front 17 x 7.5" also fit without modifications? I notice SSR doesn't list it for the Elise.

With the right tire size, I am sure it can be made to fit. Personally, I prefer "whole" sizes as it makes life easier when choosing tires/sizes.

Cannot go wrong with the recommended sizes either.

Special order, as these are brand new and no orders/stock has been decided yet. I just went today to grab my Type F Euro / Werfen dealer booklet today.

I was told by SSR that wait time/order would be 6 weeks (1 1/2 months), but I would give it 2 months just to be on the safe side.

I am very interested, although I'd like to see them on an Elise or Exige before I take the plunge. Do you have a good picture of the centercap(s) available?

Just a close up of the catalogue Image. I need to double check which caps the lotus uses.

Hopefully someone jumps on these, and does a photoshoot. For the wheels' width, weight, and strength these are one of the best priced wheels (at least what I am selling them for).
