Not on the Type F. If you want custom order you have to go with a 3 piece. SSR professor SP1 or professor MS1.

I can get Work wheels too, which can make custom order offsets/finishes, etc.

Can you get some indication out of SSR what size tire fits in the rear without rubbing? If something reasonable (say, at least 235/40) is guaranteed to fit, you've made a sale.

I believe (through my research and referring to 2wicked's wheel setup) that you can go as high as 245/35/18's on the rears and still be okay... I know that these are 17's, so I would think that the 245/40's would work also... I have been using this tool ALOT and it is GREAT...

Tire Size Calculator - tire & wheel plus sizing

You can see and compare the stock sizes to the size you are considerring...

I'd still like some sort of assurance from SSR. These aren't cheap, and I bet they aren't returnable if they don't fit.

Am I correct - there are no options for those of us who want 15" fronts for track use?

There is a 15 x 6.5J + 32 or + 42, but there is also a 15 x 7J + 30, 35, 42, 48 offset available in 4 x 100.

No idea why SSR decided to do this, but SSR has a regular Type F, and a EURO Type F with their own unique colors.

The 15 x 7 sizes come in different colors (Flat Black, Starbright silver, Touring gold), but the wheels are the right size, and bolt pattern.

The 17 x 9 (PCD: 4 x 100) rears are available only in searchlight silver, unique on the EUROs. Have to pay extra to match the fronts to the rears or vice versa if you opt for the 15s.

What size rears did you want?

15" and 16" sizes look like they are only available in 10 spoke, while the 17" are 12 spoke. Or is the Euro version different?

No, the euro version is not any different. 10 spoke for the 16s/15s. 12 for the 17s.

In person, a 12 spoke on a 15 or 16 does look a bit cluttered, and busy. A 10 spoke is a bit more proportioned for a smaller wheel.

Also, it helps to save weight on the smaller wheels.

I need someone local with an Elise/Exige to PM me if they are willing to help. I can arrange something to put this to rest.

Bump -

I'm very interested in the 15 / 17 set up for the track.

How many others are interested? Enough to keep this moving?
