Actually they have a Teflon core surrounded by Stainless mesh to protect it. I've actually made a dozen or so for my last few cars since they needed to be custom lengths and incorporated line lock etc. I've had them on every sports car I've owned. Pedal feel and braking control is much better. It's a cheap and yet very nice mod that will give you some security and better feed back and braking control.

Techna-fit lines can operate at up to 3000 psi, and are tested to 6000 psi burst.

Any brake line that is DOT certified must meet/exceed the DOT specifications.

You can read the specs and procedures at the link below.

http://law.justia.com/us/cfr/title49....36.2.7.9.html

Also, thank you Dragon for the Teflon clarification and pictures!

Keith, when did you finally become a sponsor? I must have missed that.

Your lines were the part of the first batch and were made to order.

The lines have been shipped directly from them, and we are waiting on a tracking number if it is available.

Thanks,

-Gary

Still haven't installed them... I'm waiting for a reason to remove the front clam... When that happens I'll put them on and take some pics.
