Vision Function Intercooler Upgrade Conversion Kit for Katana or BWR Supercharger

Vision Function Intercooler Upgrade Conversion Kit for Katana or BWR Supercharger

The Path:

This project was helped by two of your Lotus Talk mates Matt in Houston & Andy. They were kind of enough to offer their kits to build a conversion kit for anyone with a BWR and or Katana Supercharger Kit. Andy was happy to send his car to Maryland from New York to make it all possible. Andy originally purchased a BWR Kit but later decided he wanted to switch and go with our Stage 1 Package. After some negotiations and almost perfect timing Andy was able to deliver his car to our facility. As you know Matt, a very aggressive guy made the switch from his Katana kit and last year and offered to send his parts to use to help out in the process.

Thank You Guys!

The Kit:

We have finally nailed the process and are proud to be able to offer a Vision Function Supercharger Intercooler Conversion Kit for the BlackWatch Racing Supercharger Kit and Sector111 Katana Kits. The conversion re-uses two major pieces from a BWR or Katana Kit; the supercharger and injectors. All other pieces are replaced with parts from the Vision Function Intercooled Supercharger Kit. What this means is that you will be able to go to any of our Staged Kit's onces this is done.

Dyno Stock vs VF Intercooler Conversion Kit - 60 ft. lbs. & 100 whp Over Stock
The dyno plot above is the actual power after installing our kit onto Andy's car and tuning.

What does this mean?

This means you now have the ability to upgrade your non intercooled kit to utilize our Air to Air Intercooler, 3 inch Pulley, Custom Intake Manifold and our Reflashed ECU Map supplied by CharlieX/Gotham ECU. We are talking about stout upgrade over your current BWR or Katana Kit going directly to our Stage 2.

Intercooler Upgrade for Katana or BWR Supercharger Kit
Stage 2 Package
Price: $3300 or $4950 Installed

Gives us a call to purchase! 240-243-0193

Two things.

The graph above is stage 2 correct? Does $3300 include a tune from charliex or is that another $600?

Thanks

Ive had my kit BWR upgrade to VF2 for about 8 months now, love it more every day. Dont think about it, just buy it.

I think the tune is included (it was for me).

I would like to question also if this includes CharlieX tune. And do you have a set of installation instructions on line for me to look at?

I have a Sector 111 SC and would consider it if I could install it myself. I would have to see a set of instructions to make that determination.

Ok...found this but unless I am reading it wrong, these are instructions for the install of the whole kit...not the upgrade...or some combination of them both.

Is is necessary to remove the rear clam to do this?

As I recall from previous threads, clam removal is not required.

Not sure on the installation, but as far as I know, everything BWR/Katana Related gets removed anyhow.

Clam removal is not required (Choi didn't for Matt's install on the Elise), but makes it easier. You will need to remove everything from your old kit including the SC since (I'm assuming here) that the upgrade kit includes their nose bracket for the SC.

I had this middleaged lady yell out her window today "I love the sounds your car makes !!". You just wont get that without this kit. Pre VF my car used to sound like a Chevy Nova with a hole in the exhaust. Now has more gurgle/pops, intake howl, and supercharger whirr. Killer.

I self installed the BWR kit with the clam on.I then upgraded to VF stage 1, with the clam off. Looking back, doing either with the clam on is quite heroic and I would never do that again. Taking the clam off is not difficult, just follow the first part of the BWR instal instructions. It makes it all SO much easier, especially when placing the intercooler and removing the stock airbox.
The VF upgrade is as good as the BWR is over stock.

Is is necessary to remove the rear clam to do this?
