Aptera Typ-1 e and the Typ-1 h 300mpg

http://www.popularmechanics.com/auto...html?series=19

Two models e - all electric w/ 120mile range
h - that gets 300 mpg

They went so far as to engineer pockets for the windshield wiper to reduce drag. neeto!

I'd drive it.

Really I'd drive just about anything.

Very cool, and not terribly expensive, either (27K for electric, 30K for hybrid). I am tempted to put a deposit on one!

I would definitely buy one! I like the quirky ugly-ness, and at 300 mpg, I say f#$% OPEC

It seems like a great idea to have solar cells on the roof keeping the car interior cool when parked in the sun (while also charging the battery). If that works well enough no more burning yourself on the seatbelt buckle or holding the steering wheel with a towel!
