Apparently Dodge is really going forward with the EV "concept" based on the Lotus Europa, but now they are starting to inject actual Dodge DNA into the vehicle, and, well, the result isn't pretty. Dodge Stratus anyone?

I hope to gawd there is never a US version of Top Gear. We will ruin that too.

Dodge is full of fail.

Hopefully if it hits the market it helps Lotus (still doesn't make sense to me for a car company that actually makes cars, to buy cars from another car company) instead of tainting up the brand.

Oh and Lustrazor- US Top Gear is on it's way. Adam Corolla is Jeremy Clarkson.

Seriously though, the car, if it makes production, will help Lotus' bottom line and will basically replace (in some ways) the Viper as their sports car. It is a bit better than the Chrysler TC by Maserati.

Doesn't bother me that Lotus is whoring out the Europa, just that Dodge's version of it is fugly so far...

I fully expected them to put a Dodge family front end on it. They almost have to. However, that orange car in the first picture is a Photoshop, not the real car, so it may look a little different than that. IMHO I don't think it looks any better, or worse, than the Europa front end.

I kind of like it (the orange photoshop). It's an improvement on the Europa, which was really supposed to be a Proton anyways. I just wonder what Tesla thinks about all of this. They didn't get any non-competing client agreements from Lotus? Dumb mistake.

I agree. I think that bit of Chrysler DNA works in this case and it is better looking than the Europa.
