Just because lots of people used a word or phrase in a certain context in the past doesn't mean somebody today is using that same word or phrase in a derogatory capacity.

Not digging the Tesla. It's too much like the tzero in that it looks, well, too much like an electric car. I can't put my finger on it, but when you see an electric car that isn't a conversion, you know it's electric before you ever get near it, simply from the styling.

I chose "Hell No", but the Tesla looks OK to me, just not particularly exotic. I think I see where they were going with it, but it ended up looking like it was designed to be an appliance.

Yes it's okay with me. I don't give a rat's behind what your friend's granny says.

Let's use n%@^$*r as an example. The people who were called that said it was derogatory and they didn't want others to use it. They can still use it amongst themselves, but they don't want anybody else to use it. They want to be called colored. Okay fine. After a while they decide colored is derogatory and they don't want us to use it. They want to be called black. Okay fine. After a while they decide black is derogatory. They want to be called African American. Okay fine. Let's suppose I was accustomed to using the word colored. Just because they decided it offended them doesn't mean I ever said it offensively. Prohibiting words is silly. Heck, even if a word or phrase IS derogatory, prohibiting them is silly. We oughta prohibit people who take injurious action against another person or group (which we try to do already of course) but leave words out of it.

If somebody says, "Hey I'm going to kill you, you dirty [insert slur here]," then that's an offensive person.

If somebody says, "Hi, [insert slur here]," then it does not automatically inherit the same offensive context as it had when used by the first guy, and I'm getting really annoyed by all the so-called "politically correct" schmucks that think it does.

Let's look at it another way. Suppose a bunch of people all over the world hate me. I dunno suppose I'm George Bush or something. Now they all come up with some insulting nickname for me. Banning the nickname from use isn't going to change how they feel. I can make a law forcing them to call be by a name I like, but they're still going to hate me. And once the nickname has been accepted in widespread use, even my friends will probably call me it as well, even though they have no offensive intent. Getting all upset about the use of the slur nickname is silly. The reasonable response is to be upset with the people who act out their hatred against me, and not against the rest, regardless of what they call me.

Believe it's generally known that the shorter the wheelbase the harder it is to design an elegant vehicle. The Dino is probally the best in this Hot Wheels class.
