I have to ask - are the windows manual or electric? I can't decide which makes more sense.

Electric. Go here and look at the door for proof: Tesla Motors - cockpit

Which make more sense probably depends on how much you use them. I'd think that, over time, the weight savings would probably pay off more since one tends to roll the windows down/up only once per trip, tollbooths excluded. But .

electric! - its a "premium" branded car, and should have as much of that luxo stuff as is possible at this point.

i really hope tesla succedes - would love to see a series II car, and what "the next" car will be

Bah! You're supposed to invite us Bay Area folks to stuff like this.

Looked like a lot of fun.

It's been open for a few months apparently.

I drive by it every few weeks and have seen 1 or 2 cars in the showrooom.

very nice. Now, how do I get heated seats in my Lotus? Us New Englanders can extend the driving season a bit with those.

Actually I found a company in the bay area that will install them as well as lumbar massage, for 1k. I'm thinking about doing it. Will let you know how it goes, although it may be a while.

Ya... I can't seem to find it anywhere. Want to help me? Maybe it's on the red carpet.

Yeah! WTF? I definitely would have rolled out the red for you babe. Tesla made a grave mistake. I'll go throw string cheese at their faces in retaliation.
