What's up with the Chicago Tesla dealer??
So as it turns out the address that tesla lists as the location for its chicago dealership is three blocks away from me... I can literally see it from my balcony, which is pretty cool! Its also 4 blocks from our engineering labs so it will be super easy for tesla owners to bring their cars right over for all the various add-ons that they will inevitably be wanting... Its totally win-win for me!...
Except that there doesnt seem to be anything going on.... The website lists the place as opening summer but I dont see any activity.. no permits are posted on the building and it has a big carwash banner on the facade... Anyone know what the heck is going on ? |

Llikely to be a fair weather / weekend toy for around here. The cold winters would drain the batteries long before 250 miles.

Also you guys might consider doing something with the new mercedes benz dealership that is being built just up the street.. They have *alot* of space at the site and can handle both sales and service needs. Also its right off the interstate so the visibility is good. |

The Daly Wash? That's slightly hilarious.
Rob, good luck. I've seen your posts on this forum and I think you can offer a lot to the market.
