I don't have a whole lot of money but the elise and exige are a dream car to me. i have a 2000 mr2 spyder right now and i'm looking to upgrade to the lotus family. Anyone with either of these that's interested in selling should drop me a pm or a reply. And if ur intersted in a partial trade that always helps too.

You'll find one eventually, as there seems to be a number of Salvage titles out there, and a few higher mileages cars are now showing up.

But honestly, if you keep saving your money, you might find that it's worth it to spend a little more to get the exact car you've always wanted, with low miles and no salvage title to worry about.

What are you looking to spend on said car?
1K, 5K, 15K, 30K?

What is high milage?
Normal car high range like 60K-100K? now thats high!
Or normal for a car it's year (05 with 12k per year = 36K miles)
Or normal for what we see on elises and exiges (<=20K miles for an 05)

Oh, you can FIND one..... Do you intend to repair one with a damaged frame ? If so, you better do a LOT of reading before picking up that 6000 dollar Elise.

i too came from a 2000 MR2 spyder LOL i still have mine in pieces tho hehe

there are a few people here selling for cheap but need some work, look in the for sale section

no frame damage... blown motor or high miles is what i prefer. or something i can work on overtime to clear things up a bit. I'm trying to save money for one as soon as i'm done with mr2 2zz swap. but if an elise pops up before that i'll drop the project in a heartbeat
