Thanks. . . .I guess I will keep it real here on the forum, and stick to my lower rate method. . . .I just want to be able to secure a commission to get into an Exige.

By the way, My bro-in law (Lotus Talk's "Ian") lives in San Antonio, so I know the cost of living there. Try saying what you said living here. . . In S. Florida, our hurricane insurance alone probably costs more than your mtg.! It's nuts! You cannot buy a nice house here under 900K! Prices are ridiculous. . .but most our family is here, and you just can't beat the weather. Every season is Lotus driving season.

I had a drawing come across my desk (HOA board) for approval for a 10k sqft residence that cost him over $100k His plans were denied and to make things worse... he did it with out any prior ARC approval and now he is going to eat the cost.

He did not really eat the whole cost. . .he may have to go through paying for revisions dictated by ARC, and then the HOA board. Drawings should never be finalized like that until all jurisdictions have approved the design.
Must be some real high-end community there? We are working on this community with 10-30 acre lots! It's a Polo based community with horses and all that fun stuff. Thanks for the post!

Dude,

Get an Elise. Sport, touring, hardtop? First of all, virtually ANY Elise will have touring.

Secondly, the sport pack can be installed at a dealer except for perhaps the twin oil coolers.

Thirdly, hardtop can be ordered from the factory

Go for an Elise! Good luck

I was thinking that too. . .but deep down I really want the Exige. An S would be even better, but I would be happy with an Exige standard. I just like the lines of the rear engine enclosure tying into the roof air intake . . . I dream of an Aspen White one. . .

Sounds fair... we spent $40K on a set of custom plans for a 6,250 sq. foot house

Here's a sneak peak at the 2,100 sq. foot garage...

Currently under construction...

Many "friends" and "colleagues" of Walt Disney said NOBODY would pay to come visit his park, and THEN pay again to ride on the individual rides. . .We're talking about a car here. . . .I've seen, and heard of crazier things manifest. . .But thanks for your input though.

Thanks! If nobody bites, I can always stash away 10K here, and 15K there doing additions, and remodels until I have enough to pay cash for it. . .

I will be scoping out Palm Beach Motors this weekend. . .maybe the owner will need some house plans in the near future. . . Besides it would give me some positive energy, and I'll get to check out the service dept.
Anyone down here ever use them?

I'm impressed! You live in a 700 SQ FT house? Or are you talking about a 700 SQ FT garage?
