There have been some very nice cars here lately in the $30,000-$32,000 rqnge. If you're going to let $2-3,000 come between you and a Lotus, you're probably not REALLY a Lotus person, then yeah, get the Evo.

You must be from NYC. Only those from NYC say they are from NY and dont say where in NY. (Just kidding you) NY is a big place.Where in NY are you? If you are upstate you should condsider joining the LOONYs. If you are in the NYC area...you should join the LEO group.

thought I had posted that. I'm actually on Long Island. The reason I'm looking for that price range is because the Lotus was never my first choice (obviously due to the price range). I set a budget on a car and I have already gone over it twice so I'm stopping at 28 (little over 30 after taxes). I have seen a couple elise's under 30k already so if I can find another deal like that, great, otherwise I'll wait for the right evo.

If you want a Lotus then you need to expect to go over the $28K budget. Maybe just get the EVO now or wait and save up some more for a Lotus. I think its well worth the wait.
