MK Sportscars - Advice

Any Lotus owners have any experience with MK?

Mk Sports cars USA lotus seven replica, locost 7, Lotus 7

Looks pretty interesting, and I like the Indy cage-

Seems like a lot of value. I did notice they estimate about 300 hours to build. Caterham estimates are 70-90 hrs. I suspect you may have to panel the chassis. But if you're handy, it looks like it would be fun.

Great looking car, but not the greatest instruction manual. Lots of donar parts needed, also no wiring harness...have to make or buy aftermarket

2015 BMW M235 Convertible
2000 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
1978 Toyota FJ40
1973 BMW 2002 Turbo, fuel injected, Haltech E6A ECU...and lots of other cool stuff

I would try posing the question or searching for previous discussions here. I am considering a bike-engined build with the MK Indy R chassis (with cage) and it does look like excellent value for money for a modern 7 chassis with inboard front suspension and an independent rear.

Also take a look at the UK Locostbuilders sub-forum here.
