Ok by me, just realize that if the falling parts knock over a cone, it's +TWO seconds !

Actually LOG autocrosses are FUN. I like riding with drivers who are better than me. (I don't have to be too picky...that's 95% of ALL drivers...)

Good event. I didn't have to shag cones, the classes made sense, nice venue, plenty of runs.

Thanks for the chance to ride with someone who didn’t get lost on the course like I did.

Everyone there was super nice.

Thanks Dean!

The day turned out great, and you're not going to beat 9 runs with no work assignments! It was a fun group, too. Lots of people were giving others rides. Bob and Clive came later in the event and took some rides!

Class winners are getting $100 gift certificates from Blackwatch Racing. FTD gets another $150 certificate.

Here are the results (sorry for all the dots - I had to add them to make it align):

L1 - Track cars/ANY car running slicks
L2 - Elise/Exige - NA (no slicks)
L3 - Elise/Exige - SC (no slicks)
L4 - Sevens - S2 - S4, Caterhams, Clones (no slicks)
L5 - Esprit - all (no slicks)
L6 - Cortina, Elite, Eclat, Excel, Elan, Europa, 6, Seven S1 (no slicks)
L7 - Cortina, Elite, Eclat, Excel, Elan, Europa, 6, Seven S1 - Street Tires

Where is my prize for posting the longest time?

It was fortunate I put the car away after 5 runs. I started taking the Seven apart to properly fix the things that had been patched together in order to attend LOG. The master cylinder was empty! The 6th run could have been a bit too exciting. Now I have to figure out where the leak is hiding.

Dean,
Someone was watching out for you! I know your brake pedal felt firm during tech - I hope it wasn't because it was already up against the firewall.

I wouldn't worry about having the "slow" time...it just gave us more time to watch you on course. No doubt you had the coolest car out there. My hat's off to you for running it in the event!

Phil

Maybe the Camino Santiago (religious pilgrimage) I walked earlier this year had some effect. I was quite shocked when I saw there was no fluid in the brake reservoir. The owner of the shop I have been using spent about 10 hours at the house finalizing preparation prior to LOG. At the moment we are speculating that it is a bad flare brake line flare at the master cylinder. We will bend up a new pipe just to be sure.
