LOG27 roadtrip pictures
On the way out from Pacifica to Aspen, I took I80E to I70E, which is the basic, direct route. I recorded gas mileage for 857.9 miles and 29.8 gallons = 28.8mpg.
The first picture was taken on a cellphone in a tunnel on the California side of the Sierras. The second one was of a fire, also on the California side. The third was taken in Nevada. There are a couple of other pictures of my car taken on my drive out here.

On the way back from Aspen to Pacifica, I went over Independence and Monarch passes before catching US50 near Delta, CO up to I70W. I recorded 1277.4 miles, 42.9 gallons = 29.8mpg.
The first picture was taken in Colorado, the second at the San Rafael Reef in Utah and the third was taken at sunset at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. There are a number of other pictures from my drive through Colorado and Central Utah here.
