Yes, that was my car, but not me driving. That session I had loaned the car to another LOG attendee.

I was also very, very glad that the car was not damaged as it was my ride back to Atlanta.

It looked like the car spun either coming out of turn 4 that leads into the uphill or very early in turn 5 because the car was already backwards and still spinning when it came into view at the top of turn 5. It happened at one of the only places that you could have gone off course for that long of a distance and not hit a boulder or tire wall. I was very glad that when I looked the car over I didn't find any damage except for a lot of dirt and a couple of twigs stuck between the tire and the rim.

Glad to know the car was ok. Although I didn't find anything immediately wrong when I looked it over before letting him back on the track to head for the pits, there was always a chance for some hidden damage. That would also explain why I saw the car back out on the track during the third set of runs. The guy who was driving during the spin just kept saying "I'm done, I'm done" when I got to him so it must have been you driving during the session. I had the yellow Elise with the black Volk wheels and Larini SE style exhaust.

I did and he said that they would be available via the Speed Channel 'any day now'. He urged me to go to their website and email them about wanting to purchase one. BTW, I got my hands on a preproduction copy (the full length one with a lot more street car footage), don't ask how, and its great.

great pics and reading!! Makes me really sorry I missed it. I definitely plan on getting to the next one! Maybe I can meet up with any group that's passing somewhere near MN on the way.

Thumbs up

Looks like an amazing road trip guys. Thanks for the Vacation slideshow!

Hey, since you have considerable experience with these things, next time I take my trailer somewhere, I'd like you to come along and help...
