GGLC Run?

Anyone interested in doing a short run on either Friday 1/2 or Sat 1/3. Would only go if the weather holds, but the forecast is for likely rain.

Most likely start in Woodside or nearby, head over to the coast via 84 and then back over San Gregorio or similar.

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

Hmmm... I could be up for that. It's been a while since I've done a Lotus drive. What time are you planning to meet?

Am a maybe. Was out that way this morning, in the MR2 turbo. Lot of damp spots and some debris in the road to watch for. Had to stop for a few minutes as a Caltrans crew were cleaning up some fallen rocks in the other lane.

Exactly why if this happens it will be quick late morning thing (time for stuff to dry out) and at a "responsible" pace.

At the moment weather reports are semi-okay for Friday and iffy for Saturday.

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

Just found out I'm having my seats and battery replaced tomorrow. Hopefully it's all done by then. My tech is working on a wiring harness for the seats as they're heated, hehe

Heated seats in the Elise? or one of your other cars?
I might also be interested if weather is good.

I bought some custom sport Elise heated seats that were made by Hangar111. They will keep me warm and the material I believe is microfiber so it's softer too.

Just found out my car will not be ready in time. My mechanic has to come back on Saturday to finish the seats and battery installation.

Talking

For a battery, you disconnect the old one and put the new one in

Tonite's weather report said rain on Friday into Sat. I'll be doing Skyline to 84 to LaHonda tomorrow while it's still dry.

Anyone up for a run Sunday?

I'm open. I'd be happy to do Kiyoshi's original route. But willing to go ~50 miles in any direction to meet up if others have a fun route.

Let's do it!!!!

Meet at 10am (edit) Saturday 1/3 at:

Starbucks
325 Sharon Park Drive
Menlo Park, California 94025

This just off Sand Hill Rd.

We can leave at 10:30.

Tentative route...

From Starbucks
Right onto Sharon Park Dr
Right onto Sand Hill Rd
Right onto Portola
Hard Left onto La Honda Rd (Hwy 84)
Just past La Honda - Left onto Pescadero Rd
Right to stay on Pescadero Rd
In Pescadero, right onto Stage Rd
Left onto La Honda Rd in San Gregorio
Right onto Hwy 1 toward Half Moon Bay
Veer right onto Main St in HMB and stop for optional lunch

Return is easy -
Continue north on Main St
Right onto Hwy 92

This will be a casual drive. With today's rains there is sure to be run off and wetness in the shade. Just an excuse to get out of the house and start the year off in a "Lotus-way".

Cheers,
Kiyoshi
