I used to keep the car in the open.. I think my starshield yellowed a little tiny bit.

Of course, it'll get dirty more often...

Putting it in the garage would mean I would have to stop driving. I do not like to stop once I get behind the wheel.

I bought the car about 3 months before we bought a house with a garage. Now Elsie lives in a garage, very happily.

I can tell you this: the Elsie is just like every other car, with regards to the weather. It is painted, and has Starshield.

I usually have a garage, but I am in northern TX for a few months and rented a storage unit just so she didnt have to sleep outside. Well worth the $50 to me!

Talking I cover mine!

I live in San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles.

I keep my car covered on the side of my house. Except for the last few days of 100mph winds--it seems to work well.

Remember--it's a car.
