Garage is ready for my Elise... Neon sign!

Well... I got my garage cleaned out and ready for my Elise which I am going to pick up later this week.

I know some of you are going to ask about the sign... I picked this up about a year ago... It's one of only three made. I believe one was used for the Federal Elise unveiling at the LA Auto show in 2004.

Your garage is killer, but that cooler is far too high to grab a cold one!

Seeing that pic, I am really jealous...well of a lot of things. But mainly that sign. It is very cool.

WOW! That garage is incredible! Mine looks like sh*t comparatively. Maybe I should do something about it. Nahhh-I need that money for Ohlins, Swaybar, rubber...

I agree...not my kind of car. Wheels too small, too much wind noise....and those seats.......look extremely uncomfortable.......and no ladder to get in!

What I find strange about this picture is that the carcass of that Porsche is sitting there and there are no other parts anywhere to be seen. Where are the doors and such? The motor? I see the body and four wheels but no axles.
Maybe I am just strange, but that sort of thing jumps out at me in some pictures. Like that the floor jacks are stacked in front of the door and the broom used to clean the garage is just in frame.

About the 914....

This started out as a 914-4. It is being converted to a 914-6 GT car. 2 years in the works so far. Half of the parts (suspension, wiring, plumbing, etc.) are on the black shelves under the Lotus sign. The engine and tranny is at the race shop. The balance of parts are to the right (out of view).

You can see the Ingersoll Rand compressor behind the 914.

I have the piping off the wall (pulled it from the old garage). I still have to mount it to the new walls. I'm going to run the black iron pipe over the door frame and then down to the blast cabinet. I think I may, though, put the cabinet on wheels so I can blast in the driveway. As it does manage to get some media out of the cabinet and everything ends up dusty.

Highly recommended. You don't want that abrasive dust getting on everything in your garage (cars, parts, etc.).

After seeing qball's garage, it's easy to see some people might be feeling badly about their own garage....let me do my part to cheer you up. Here is the home of #1312...
