Nice! With a touch of Ferrari to boot. Sweet poster choices as well.

Looks great! Where did you get the floor tiles? And do they stay together when you turn your cars?
Thanks,
Gene

How often do you ride that bike?

I bought a Schwinn Orange Crate bike from a kid in my neighborhood ~1970. Paid him $15... he needed the money to buy a "lid". The bike was an early one that had he "nut slicer" stick shift and tall sissy bar.

Thanks....the floor tiles are race deck..have had it down a few years now and no problems at all. Put some landscape fabric down underneath which keeps it quiet. How often do I ride the bike??? Ha...not much..

I like looking at the garage shots here and over at the garage-mahal posting.
in reviewing the shots is it me or is there a ratio of tools to cleanliness that is counter to logic ?

meaning - The garages with the super finished or ceramic floors have huge amounts of tool cabinets or in one case a tool display ! yet no evidence of the cars being worked on in the garage, where as the garages showing evidence of being functional have a more appropriate ratio of tools and show evidence of usage .....

There might be a correlation between the neatness of the garage and the amount of work one does on the vehicles. However, it doesn't mean that those of us who have aesthetic garages don't work on them.

I'm always purchasing what seems like some obscure tool that Marguerite says, "You're never gonna use that." It never fails. Within a year, I end up using every tool I have. Some of them more often.

Some garage's are really show rooms and others are more functional. Both are great with me...My garage is by far not a show room. I wish I had a seperate room for showing the toys off. The mess that gets created in the shop would DESTROY any show room.... and this coming from a guy that spends a couple evenings a week cleaning the shop, as it's just a non-stop work in progress...

Even though I keep the shop "clean", if I did the projects I do in Georgiarover's garage, he'd surely go into cardiac arrest That said, I'd love to have a showroom like Georgiarover's

Ciao,

Phil

Agree with notion of show rooms being distinctly different from a garage - I still find it hard to imagine putting a ceramic tile floor in a working garage < adding a bunch of tool cabinets like you would find on a pro-level semi race car hauler only ads to the farce. I love neat , but my garage quickly showed wear and tear as you can see from the pictures - then again maybe I do more cars and more types of work ( including paint) than the average bear.

If I could , I would have a set up like the guy in Marin. a space to store or display with lots of natural light and an adjoining work, or dirty area. Realistically I would be happy with a largish 2-car detached you can store about 4 early cars and still have a 15X20 work space left over. floor would be concrete, with stainless steel pan in center to catch fluids in work area.

I'm definately more in the "functional and try-to-be-tidy" camp, than showroom, but given the funds, hmmmmmmm.

Work bench hidden by Jag.

How many people see music is a "must have"?
I Can't work with a TV around, but would go crazy without some noise in the back-ground. I'm working on a Rock-n-Roll hall of fame type thingy - one or two were errr "borrowed" after the gig!
