Usually there are few if any items available for purchase then and there although prepaid orders are taken. Maybe MickOpalak can provide the official word.

Basically that's correct. We prefer that people pre-order (pix of the merchandise will be up soon) but there will be some extras at the registration area. I can't guarantee how many.

We were going to leave friday morning also. I believe one or two other guys from columbus are going to do the same so that may be a good plan. As details start coming together let me know,

The festivities start on THURSDAY. Not that you shouldn't come anyway if you can't get off work....but it's WORTH IT.

An events schedule is on the LOG29 site.

Just as a reminder, we will have a caravan of owners driving down from the NYC area, send me a PM...we are anticipating a two -day drive with a stopover near Roanoke VA if anyone from that area wants to hook up.

We met you last year at Indy, watched you do your Decal Magic too...at the Concours.

Our entourage usually includes some folks with trailers...what's the record time on Tail of the Dragon for those?

In 1998, for LOG 18 in Atlanta, we drove down and back by ourselves on mostly secondary roads. At that time Car and Driver had published an article on the "Ten Best Roads of the Southeast" which we used extensively.

Yes, TOTD and the other "Ladder Roads" on the NC/SC border were fantastic.

I can tell you, that Phil Harbison, who creates the spirited drives for the Birmingham club, is GOOD at what he does! So I fully intend to drive ALL the routes he maps out for LOG 29.

In Colorado (LOG 27), we actually traveled two of the drives after the event was over. That way they didn't cut into our Bar Time.

There's some talk going on about after the track day on Monday driving up to The Dragon Monday night and then spending Tuesday driving the Dragon and surrounding roads. Stay tuned...

The Nov. 2008 issue of American Motorcyclist has Mr. Barber on the cover and an eight page article on Barber Motorsports and many photos of the museum.

I sent in my registration. Signed up for just about everything: Talladega, autocross, Barber Motorsport track day, car control clinic. It should be a fun and busy few days.

How will the car control clinic effect our track time on track day? We we miss a session?
Plus my youngest son is going to have his first track day,so we will be shareing the Elise.
Is car control clinic in your own car or as a passenger?
Atwell, I will driveing down Thur. night to my oldest son Manning's house in Blacksburg. Just south of Roanoke. Would like to meet up
Bob

We will be scheduling the Accident Avoidance/Car Control Clinic sessions around the HPDE sessions so you'll get 100% of both, but you'll be busy on Monday.

Then he needs to sign up for the HPDE also, unless you're in the same group and swapping out sessions.

In your car with you as the driver.

I just paid for my membership last weekend. We are making plans this weekend for the trip down.

I am planning on attending the Sunday Autox there. Guess I need to change my brake fluid!
