LOG Pre-Registration Numbers

As of yesterday evening there are 243 people preregistered for LOG.

There will be lots of people, cars and driving. I look forward to this event every year. Each LOG is different. Each LOG is fun. If there is as much electricity in the air due to the Evora being present as there was when the Elise was announced this should be a very memorable event.

I've got a detail left to do yet as well, and maybe change my graphics a bit.

If the carwash/detail area is in the Wynfrey's underground garage as it was in 2004, don't worry...you won't be able to see anything...

Yes. Starting today I'll officially be panicking. lol.
New clear bra on the front today. I've never been happy with it, some garbage film the body shop put on. So pulling junk film off a repaint (well new paint on a new clam). This has the potential to be very bad.
At least if it goes good, I'll have good film on that will last. My stuff has been on the back for 4 years now and still looks fine.

I'll finish packing the trailer today. Yesterday I took the Seven on a final shake down run and found that the #1 ignition wire was occasionally arcing at the distributor. I'm having new wires, cap, rotor overnighted to the Wynfrey. We leave tomorrow.

Fixing cars at LOG is a fine tradition. I've seen roll bar installations, axle shaft, starters, generators, crank sensors... replaced.

On way to the Colorado LOG a bunch of Lotus executives stopped to help out a stranded Europa. I can't imagine that happening with the executives of any other car company.

I took my clear bra off the front end today and covered the entire front of the car in clear bra. Everything from the doors forward. One piece, no seams. You really can't tell it's there since there are no seams. Even did the access panels and behind the front tires. It was one huge piece of 55" clear bra and we custom modified the pattern to not have to have any seam to cover all the way back to the doors. If anyone orders the full coverage front from my website, I'll do it the same way.

I've still got to detail my Exige. And pack. And do laundry. And go to work on Tuesday and Wednesday. And cross a thousand Ts and dot a million Is. In two days.

I'm detailed, but I have to restripe my car. Hope we get a lot of sun to bake out the water bubbles in the clear bra put on today, and make stuff to sell there. And get about 14 customer orders out. And I'm moving when I get back. We should of got a sponsorship from redbull. I don't think I'll be sleeping for the next 9 days. Couldn't be looking forward to it any more though!

Does anyone have any contacts at Red Bull? We can always use additional sponsorship for next year's LOG. Lotus and LOG might be a perfect fit with Red Bull. Definitely a younger and hipper crowd that Ferrari...

Yard cleaned up. Trailer packed. Ready to get on the road tomorrow morning.

I always get back from LOG tired. MickOpalak will need at least a week to recover.

Weather

Unfortunately, it's raining like crazy here. It's supposed to keep up with the rain until Friday when the chances decrease to 30%. However, the weekend looks good (clear). I hope it dries out somewhat. My Elise has never been out in the rain.

And the weather looks to be pretty decent, too.

edit: Ah, we posted at the same time. Weather on Saturday and Sunday looks decent, I should say. Friday is iffy.

I used to have a customer and that was her job. She drove around in a little red bull truck all day and just gave random people free redbull. When she pulled up one day I thought she was there to stock the bar down the sidewalk. She is like no, that is a whole separate division, we just give it away. What a cool job. Especially for a nubile 19 year old.
