Bruce,

That was me in the #14 CodeBlue/Tax-Whistleblower.com Elise racing with NASA on Sat/Sun. If you have any more pics of that event, can you please pm or email me? Because I don't recall getting to meet you at any of the LOG events, maybe we'll see you at a mid-atlantic get together soon.

I did hear under the clubsport thread.

The new Larini 'S' Clubsport Muffler for Elise/Exige supercharged cars!

Ironically in the spin it flashes to white because of the sun right where your car was so you cant see anything. Looks much more violent then it felt and really felt like it was sliding on ice...

Back after dinner.
Tracy,

You seemed to have your volunteer hands quite full at the Barber track day. I've only found your auto-cross photos on Photobucket so far - did you have a chance to take some photos at Barber or were you too busy helping everything run smoothly?

Kevin

All I've gotten up onto Photobucket so far are the pics from Tail of the Dragon and our caravan home. I have more than 1,500 more to post, from the concours, the museum, the autoX and the HPDE...but a crazy work schedule messed me up. I'm hoping to do some this afternoon and as many as I can do tonight.....and want to be 100% done by the weekend....then whatever higher-res copies people want, I'll email.

I wasn't a part of running anything at Barber....there are others to thank for the great day out there.

I bet most of you didn't catch it, but on Saturday night the LOG committee presented me with the Ultimate Bond collection on DVD. Every film up through the last one and several music CDs too. Awesome.

I saw that, but I laughed to myself...based on the size of the box, I thought they were VHS tapes.

Thanks!

It was a lot of fun. That was our own Moto44 in the passenger seat. He's done the track on his motorcycle but not in a car. You can see that I'm explaining a few things that Doc Holiday commented on after watching a video of one of my earlier runs.

I was amazed at how well that track flowed. Really the middle of the 'corkscrew' (turn 7) and then turn 8 were the only parts of the track that didn't have exceptional flow. Everywhere else the track had very nice flow.

Dang, I forgot instructors could take passengers. That Todd is one lucky SOB!

I really appreciate your instruction time, Rich. The last couple of solo sessions gave me a chance to work through the advice you'd given me. A great day at a beautiful venue.

Looking forward to seeing them, Tracy.

I'll add my thanks to the event organizers. The "bonus" session at the end of the day was a fantastic way to end the weekend.

You're welcome.

Do you remember when coming back from a LOG meeting I asked if you had the collection and you told me you actually had none but it had been on your wish list forever? Was trying to figure out what to get for you since none of us really knew.

Was I lucky or what to have this guy as my instructor (again)?
He does a pretty good job keeping up with, or ahead of the supercharged Exiges in his NA car. I can't wait to go back to Barber.

If anyone didn't get a shirt from the event, I have a few left in size Large. I think I'm out of the ones with the green ringer collar and sleeves. (have not completely unpacked the car yet).

I also have plenty of 3x5 LOG29 decals left. They are clear laminated to be able to hold up for a few years outdoors. $1 each and $1 shipping for as many as you want. Trying to explain to some of the Elan/Europa/Elite guys that a decal on the outside of the glass can actually hold up now and that is what they are designed for was like beating my head against a wall sometimes. Believe it or not there have been material advancements since the fifties.

I hear ya on the corkscrew...
I think my best lap was a 1:52 and that was fast enough

After watching your video and mine, I see I left a lot on the table...like braking and on throttle moments.

Video is so fantastic to learn from...I have a link below to my video.
For some reason the embed is not working right.
