Two Extremes of the Lotus Racing Heritage

There was also a smart car displayed but I deemed it unworthy.

Terrific finally meeting you.

BTW, I bought my friends' babies t-shirts that say "Does This Shirt Make My Head Look Big"

The accident was caused by:

1. Sue (elise) realizing she was missing the exit and driving over the hash marks

2. Inattentive woman driving SUV. (Imagine that!)

3. I'd guess crummy mirror aiming on both vehicles.

4. I think I've told Sue to get multivex mirrors. IMO, these cars are a lot less safe w/o them.

No problem Todd! It was great having you along. An appreciative rider always makes it fun.

I finally uploaded some video- Here's most of the intermediate group's 3rd run of the day- I edited out footage of Mercedes to keep it short enough for Youtube- Hard to believe it was a week ago today!

I was in the intermediate group also but I don't think I ever saw you out there (silver s240)...yeah some of the mercedes were road hazards and really shouldn't have been in intermediate, although in some spots it added a bit of excitement.

Needle in a haystack search

Sorry guys and gals, but I ran across a photo of three people at the concours that I forgot to save. It shows two women and a guy. The women have floppy hats on and the the guy had a ball cap on. They were near a car. The angle of the shot was taken from the rear of the rows, looking forward toward the camera location, or maybe to the right of it.

There may have been other people in the shot but I don't remember and I can't remember what car they were near (a lot of help I am, huh?)

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if the photographer, or anyone that remembers that shot, can send me a link.

Thanks much!

I wish I could have watched the videos, then come back for a 2nd day to really rip it up.

Cool stuff man

Yes, I had to drive along side the Mercedes with the black rag top a few times to get a point, but they eventually seemed to catch on-

It was a good day at the track!

I feel the same way. I met so many people I'd like to see again. It was also a pleasure meeting Moto44. You are both so likeable, friendly. Meeting Ace10 was a treat, great fun....maybe not quite as likeable.

Tracy, Randy....so many others!!

LOG has now become my annual vacation....it's a giant car-related reunion.

Have yet to meet >1 Lotus owner I didn't really take to. We all are a tad off-center (hence we don't drive Porsches or Vettes), all seem to have wonderful senses of humor (maybe a necessity here), smart, some have incredible tech knowledge.....just terrific.

I agree. Except for that Moto44 prick.

Evidently Slaughter must have technical knowledge which heretofore is unbeknown to me, because he clearly doesn't possess any of the other qualities you mention.

I sincerely look forward to seeing you at LOG30, Gil! Fortunately, I believe Slaughter's attendance at LOG29 was a fluke.
