I'm kind of new in the Elise world
Is that standard for the new elises?, the lotus logo on the back side in stead of the
L O T U S sign on the back?

That is an aftermarket badge.

06 came with foil lettering on the back, 07+? has the raised lettering (i think)

like so: Black Rear Lotus Badge, Lotus Exterior Products - Blackwatch Racing
