What kind of tyres are your cars coming with ?

Some shots look like Yoko 48's

Just to add a word of caution.
Most of you probably all ready know this.
But for those who don't.
This car will stick to the road like glue
especially if you've had some track training.
However some road tyres do still need to be warmed up first.
and I'm not sure what the weather's like over there now,
but it looks a tad chilly. So proceed with caution..

I've seen many broken Elises

Sorry if this looks patronising - I don't mean to be.

hi Mark. If you root around a bit you'll find that pre delivery those wheel arch reflectors were the concern of a lot of people who pointed out how hideous they look. post delivery they seem not such an issue. i tend to not notice them aside from in flash photos. I also find that photos do not really do the car justice as it is a lot more striking in the glas. the sport suspension includes the yok 48's. I think people have been fairly adequately warned of the R compound issues requiring warm up before grip is maximized.

In most states, it is a legal requirement here as well. However, it's not one of those things that you're likely to get a ticket for, and if you DO get a ticket, it's usually inexpensive to dismiss.

Can you peel them off ?
I'm not sure how they're attached (I think it's two nuts), but there are large holes in the clam behind it. See photo below - this is an unpainted, replacement clam for a US Elise.

Got Mine!!

Yeah...the wait is over!!! I picked up my Magnetic Blue yesterday in Princeton. Weather has been crummy so only have driven it sparingly.

I'll post pictures this week when the weather is nicer.

Shame,

when you break a front clam and need a new one ask for a UK spec one.

Here is my Garage!

Here is my Elise Garage.

By the way there is a full dry carbon front clam available. If you break one why not upgrade?

Nice garage KMS...I happen to be building a new new house & have two questions:

1) Have thought about the lift to allow more room for toys underneath-- which one did you select? Satisfied? Any concerns about the top car leaking on the bottom car?

2) I was speaking to a company that specializes in garage finishes. They mentioned that (at least in humid Florida) they recommend large sheets glued to the floor over instead of the squares I see in your garage (which look great btw). They mentioned the squares are susceptible to mold & mildew along the edges & underneath-- Have you atually had any problems with those tiles?

I bought my lift from a friend of mine and I cannot find a name on it. I will call him after the holidays and find out for you if you like. I don't have any concern regards to a leak since my cars are closed on the bottom side and also I have 2 drip / parts tray in between the top rails.

I haven't had any problem with mine. I live in a very dry climate area. I did seal my floor with a concrete sealer before I layed tiles down. I haven't encountered any problem with these tiles since I installed them when we built our house about 2 years ago.

New Pix

Finally had a chance to drive my new Magnetic Blue on a nice day...a little cold

Sorry the pix aren't very clear...it's a crummy digital camera. Besides, I'd rather spend my time driving than taking good pictures
