Picked up my Graphite/Red touring yesterday. Deposit 10/03- order 3/1/04 arrived 1/14/05.
Paint looks great, starshield is very good- have'nt noticed any blemishes yet. Have 108 miles on it so far- it was delivered with 12 on the odometer. Can't find my toolkit, but I'll keep looking ![]() ![]()

Yet another studio shot...This one had a ton of Photoshop to fix a dirty softbox...

I've been posting my shots elsewhere til now. It's been awhile since a Laser Blue was posted here.
All the following were taken 01/19/2005 between 1 and 2 PM. Had I gotten there sooner, the amount of haze layering would have been less. Please forgive me for getting there so late. This is from Pacific Palisades, looking at Santa Monica Bay Beaches all the way south to Palos Verdes. This next one is from PP looking East towards downtown and the Angeles Crest/San Gabriel/San Bernardino Mountains in that order. Just last Sunday this view was so crystal clear that even Mt. San Gorgonio way out over Palm Springs was visible. Photochemical smog has been building up all week in what I imagine is a thermal inversion layer -- though I've not heard this condition mentioned on the news yet. This one is from above Las Flores Canyon looking WSW to Santa Barbara Island with a Ship cruising North in the ship channel. With that wake it looks like a hydrofoil, but it wasn't moving that swiftly. Maybe it's towing something. I couldn't make it out. This last one I think is the best of the day. It shows off the lines of the Elise, and the Laser Blue color so superbly, that I feel the Elise successfully competes with Mother Nature in its beauty. It is from higher up above Las Flores Canyon looking down on the hills above Malibu, and taking in Santa Monica Bay all the way to the Palos Verdes Peninsula on the Left, and Santa Catalina Island on the right. eliseum,
You should sell those pics to Lotus, top quality promotion material there! They should be hanging on every dealers wall. ...and for fun you can even up the price on them once or twice before you hand them over ![]()

Here's a bonus odd shot I took from a small park near my home. With really good cameras some action movies have used this shot in extreme closeup -- but without the elise to add color. ![]() |
