All rain on the day of delivery. All my cars need a good wash. Next time I'll post clean pictures.

I finally got mine last night! I've was on the waiting list since November '03, and I'm so excited now I can still hardly breathe. I'll post pics this weekend. I want to give thanks to everyone here on these forums for keeping me going during the long wait.

rbullett,
The Cayenne Turbo is for in NYC and to go up to the country. The Ferrari and the Lotus are so on the opposite sides of the spectrum, that its easy to choose. The V12 is all about torque and sound: a true GT (And will take the kids). The Elise is all about steering and braking (no passengers)

Finally! (YANE)
Delivery 4/29/05 (deposit 11/11/03). Great job throughout by Dan and the guys at Scottsdale Lotus.
Not many pictures yet, but this one below is from my inaugural run out to Bartlett Lake near Phoenix. As other AZ owners will probably know, this is a nice combination of rough surface slower speed twisties followed by a section of smooth surface long sweepers. Needless to say I had a blast - can't wait to get through the break-in period! Oh, and in closing I'd just like to say:

Delivered about five weeks ago... but been on the road most of that time. Finally got time to post pics. Notice the big house with four car garage (That's the garage sticking way out in front.) Had to buy that so I would have room for the Elise.
![]() Sport pack, Touring pack, Starshield, Hard Top, the works. I would have gotten the Sports package JUST for the tires. Wicked looking! Last edited by Pdelcast; 05-09-2005 at 06:44 PM. |

![]() What was your experience with Midrivers? I was a little upset with the fact that there was auto wax in EVERY little crack and crevis on my Elise. I'm still digging it out. :P Other than that, they were great. |

That wax is most likely from the hellacious buffing job that they do at the port - we all have it. I still have small white dots of buffing compound up front on my dash by the windshield. The dots don't bother me as much as the buffer burn-in swirls all throughout the rear spoiler area.

I'm still curious about the mirror adjustments. It seems to me there should be a knob for adjusting the exterior mirrors - but there isn't any on my car. But there are open holes where the knobs should be. It just doesn't seem right adjusting them by hand outside the car, because they don't hold position correctly. |
