Went for a drive today - just a pic down one of the backroads in Northern Illinois, I now share the same fate as RacyTracy - that is - it's tough to find any curvy roads out here in Illinois:

If you take Rte 62 to Algonquin, then go south on Rte 31 there are some decent curves. Then take Rte 72 east to Rte 68 east back home.

Just bought mine the other day. It's an '06 Canyon Red w/ touring pkg. Here are some pics I took while out in the canyons early in the morning. My facial cheeks are still hurting from smiling so much!

Whew, what a long but wonderful day! This morning I hopped on a Southwest flight from Dallas down to Houston to pick up my new baby and then I took the rest of the day driving her back. She's a SY 06 Exige w/ Touring, TC, Starshield and Ohlins Track Suspension. What an absolutely fantastic car! Honestly I'm tired right now, and I'll write more about my day later, but for now I just wanted to get this pic posted.

Congratulations! The car looks great. I was wondering who would pick that beauty up, assuming it is the same car that was on eBay.

Yup that's the one. Absolutely perfect(!) condition. It was an easy decision after my ordered car got canceled by Lotus. Saved me a good deal of money too.

I like the ride height on that Exige. I wonder if the Track pack will lower to that height also.

TC,

I just bought a used 05 at the Durham Lotus dealer. I thought they were nice people. I'm right next door and work in downtown DC.

...and here's one 250 miles later at home. Popped the top off, and went driving for another hour or so. My back loves ProBax.

Foosh, yeah thumbs up for the Durham guys. They made the car to be exactly how I wanted it. I only wish they would have told me how to turn off the Blaujunk's disco light show.

See radio owners manual to turn off disco lights or just add the strobe light kit for full 1980's effects!

Talking Can't stop grinning...

I picked up my GG/Red Elise from Abe at South Bay last week. Flew down from San Francisco and drove up HWY1 the whoooooole way!

Abe was great, picked me up at the airport, and I was on my way after a pleasant hour or so at the dealership. Drove to Manhattan Beach and they let me park her right out front while I had dinner with friends. The drive up the next day (10 hours) was fantastic, and has absolutely been formative as far as our relationship goes...

She's the only one for me now (anyone want to buy a G35 Coupe with 9800 miles? ).
