Do you happen to have any interior shots? I've always wanted to see the red int. with the Aspen White paint. . .
Thanks!

Also I had done a search on the forum beforehand and several people said they had done it without problems, and in fact that the wider front wheels made the stock tires a bit better. |

That would have been nice... it will be up here eventually... just not for a number of pages down the road Note from randy, I removed the other posts, so this may not make sense. |

All we need .... Elise S - 220S
Hi there,
even thought not exactly brand new (7 month) the fact that she has been newly tuned with a Compressor (and some other parts) made her somehow become a new model: Elise S 220S , and decided me to put some more pictures of my baby. |

Great pictures, Vince, and a very nice car. The pics would also fit in zOOmz's 'abandoned places' thread. Can you give us some more details about the engine mods? Compared to the new Elise SC: would you say that in the end this is the better alternative? |

Elise SC contra Elise S 220S
Quote:
thanks a lot for appreciating the pictures, unfortunately I could only put 5 of that series so I'm quiet curious where to find that: zOOmz's 'abandoned places' thread ! Could you give me some more details how to find that thread ? About the engine, its very difficult for me to compare as I'm no expert but it's probably always the better choice to trust Lotus and get their products, at least you have a long time guarantee. The only contras I heard against the new SC is about its cooling system, the huge Exige's intercooler has been replaced by a quiet smaller one and one should wait and see if it works as well as the Exige's one. My Compressor is a Radial one which is a trusted system now from Komo-tec.de and which cools down the Compressor very well. Finally the only real advantage I know for sure is the price: the SC will be next to 50.000€ and my S + Compressor (without the options,alloys,etc..) has cost a little 43.000€ Both cars will certainly have a similar performance. So let's wait and see until the SC comes out to find out more. Ps: I took the opportunity while replying to put the last 5 pictures of the All we need ... series Vince |
