After a 3 month wait, it is finally here. Had no idea Saffron Yellow would look so nice.

I had dreamed of owning a Corvette or a Mustang when I was a teen. I had even put down a $20 deposit on a used $800 Mustang but my Dad vetoed that.

So here I am, long in the tooth but still young at heart.

And thanks to my lovely wife for letting me pick up this totally unpractical, but immensely fun car.

just put a downpayment on my 09 purist elise in manaco white. i am so excited to get this car. i dont even have it yet and i already got smiles on my face from sun rise to sun set. i may even have a smile when im asleep. i will definately post pictures when i get my new girl. glad to join the forum.

I still love my Artic Silver with red interior, but if I could, I´d drive a different color everyday!

Our Jim Clark Edition arrived last weekend and still can't belive she's here!
The car is everything I had expected and more. Last week I made the first "Chapman Mod" - took out the factory (useless) cup holder. I think it saves about a pound! Besides, who needs caffine when you have a Lotus!?!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the car was sourced from Lotus Motorcars of Long Island. My hat's off to Tom, Maryann and all the Autosport staff for handling the transaction in a timely, professional and friendly manner. Anyone in the market should seriously consider them - I know I'll be back to get another some day.

I've had my eye on the Elise for a couple of years now, and I finally got one! 2005 AR. Only had 6500 miles on it! :-)

As someone who spent many of his teen years with various sports car posters on the wall of his bedroom, I'm sure you can imagine how much I love my Lotus!

Just picked up my 2007 ardent red Elise last tuesday. Touring package, hard top, 6711 miles. I have been having a blast!!. Bought mine at Mid-Atlantic Sports Cars in Morgantown, WV. My hats off to Wayne and the staff there. If anyone is looking for a used Lotus, Ferrari, Lambo or Porsche I highly recommend Mid-Atlantic.

Favorite moment in my Elise so far was rounding the corner on my way to work and reading the lips of a high school kid walking to school as he said, "Holy ****!"
