Hello from Chattanooga, TN

I'm another lurker who has been researching and finally will be pulling the trigger tomorrow. I'll be taking home a 2005 Elise in Nightfall Blue with LSS and Touring packages. I can't wait! Thanks for all the information and especially the Uberpost. This forum has been very helpful in my research.

Glad to be here!

Welcome!
Time to post some pics of the new car. I have relatives in Chattanooga so I am down there a lot. Will keep an eye out for your car - I haven't seen another Lotus around there yet.

Congrats!

Be sure to hit up Lookout Mtn once you're comfortable with your car. My sister lives up there (about 2 blocks from Rock City) and I used to love the trip up & down the mountain in the Elise.

There is an even more fun road on Signal Mountain, known just as "W" Road.

Will do! There are some other fun roads, too. I'm the president of Scenic City Miatas, so I've had a lot of chances to do some exploring. If anyone is ever in my neighborhood and wants to try out Daus Mountain Road or Roberts Mill Road just let me know and I'll be happy to run.

I'm also about 1.5 hours from the famed Dragon and the Cherohala Skyway, so I usually go up there about once a month on a weekday morning.

You have seen me around! I'm the guy who stopped you as you were leaving work about three weeks ago (I work where you work) and asked you about your car. I picked mine up at LOA as well.

I have met the friendly NC State Troopers already this summer in a modified Miata. The legal fees were a touch steep...
