I wanted to say hello to everyone. Thanks for all the helpful discussions posted. I hope to be an owner soon. Currently I have I 1980 911 SC with a 3.6 L transplant. Hopefully everyone likes pictures.
Thanks. A SC'ed one probably is a blast to drive. I'll likely try to find a stock one and modify from there after learning a bit more. Gotta sell the 911 first.
Well, sold the 911 and bought an 09 Elise with 24k miles. Stock, except for a Lotus Sport exhaust. I love the car. Completely different than the 911 and tons of fun. It is really a blast to drive. It is connected to the road like the 911, not as fast out of turn but a lot faster into the turns. It is connected to the road better in my opinion and you don't have to get to triple digits to have fun driving.
Now, driving will be limited until Spring.
I enjoy the forum and the lively and civil discussions.
Any NE AutoX or gatherings? Or where to find out about such things?
I can always autoX at the local PCA events but would like to find Lotus stuff as well. Not as many Lotus owners as Porsche so it might be difficult.
