Hello from Taiwan

Hello everyone:

As title, I come from Taiwan. I was looking forward to own a Elise/Exige for couple years. And recently I became a owner for a week. This is a great forum that contains tons of information. I think to make such a successful forum needs great forum members and site administrators. So thanks you guys.

Regards,
Swei

Welcome to LotusTalk!

I've had the pleasure of traveling to Taipei quite often in the past 4 years. But in all those visits I have never seen a Lotus.

I fact it seems sports cars in general seem to be rare. A friend there owns a couple of Porsches and is a part of some club but even he says sports cars are few.

Yet, there are some amazing "Lotus" roads on the island nation. A lot of crazy traffic, but that would only add "fun" to the mix.

Cheers,
Kiyoshi

Welcome . The last time I was in Taiwan was when I was around 8 yrs old! Don't recall whether I have seen any sports car there. But then again, at that age, looking for sports cars was probably not on top of my priorities.

Welcome to the forum!

Let us know where in TW you are located - Taipei?

Did you see the pictures of the F430 that burned out the other day?

HI, cstetter:

I live in Taichung (mid of Taiwan in west coast). The burned out Ferrari was F360. The driver (owner) ran away after the car was on fire and later he called his friend to take the responsibility of this accident (someone says that we have a charge of endanger the public regarding this kind of issue). Because there were some witnesses, sooner the owner was captured...To see the picture please link to:

The fact is the people as rich as they are rather avoid to be shamed in public than care about a car like that was burned....What a poor car.....
