It only took a 1 way flight, a 4 hour trip to and from a remote branch of my bank, and a 1075 mile drive home, but I'm now the proud new owner of a 2005 Storm Titanium Elise! Thanks to singlefin for taking good care of her while she was his, and vulcangrey for trading off highway segments to get her home. I would also like to thank coffee, cheerios snack mix, vitamin water, frappachino, power bars, and dr. pepper for making this possible.
Here are a few photos I took on a brief pit stop in Cove Fort Utah as the sun was setting. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/djason/3827514292/" title="Elise_01 by dJason, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3557/3827514292_3a00df97c9_b.jpg" width="1024" height="682" alt="Elise_01" /></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/djason/3827513986/" title="Elise_02 by dJason, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3532/3827513986_1dbac0bc8d_b.jpg" width="1024" height="683" alt="Elise_02" /></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/djason/3827514580/" title="Elise_03 by dJason, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3419/3827514580_3a1219a899_b.jpg" width="1024" height="682" alt="Elise_03" /></a> <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/djason/3827513612/" title="Elise_04 by dJason, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2484/3827513612_2975dfb19f_b.jpg" width="1024" height="683" alt="Elise_04" /></a> |

Very nice pictures!
What does the rear view look like from inside the cabin? That looks like the GUT wing, but I would think that would significantly block your rearward visibility. Do you have a picture showing the view? |

Here is a view of the rear wing (taken on our drive back to CO Saturday), it is a GUT wing, and it does block alot of the view, though it is good at blocking headlights.

I bought my 2005 SY elsie the exact same way! 1 way ticket, remote bank, and the thrilling first drive home! Bought mine in LA and took 2 days to get her home. It was such a great experience and leaves a lasting memory! Very cool- congrats on the purchase.

looks like a fun canyon! Excellent for the Elise. Is this the canyon just outside of Mesquite Nevada as you duck into Arizona for a 10 minutes and come out through Saint George Utah? It looks very familiar as I drove this brining mine back from LA

What a great adventure - congratulations -
NOW - let the mods begin ![]() One of the best things about the Elise / Exige is the joy of making it your own one of a kind dream ride. A never ending process, by the way... Best Wishes -
