Talking Less new to Lotus talk, and NOW I'm an owner

It only took a 1 way flight, a 4 hour trip to and from a remote branch of my bank, and a 1075 mile drive home, but I'm now the proud new owner of a 2005 Storm Titanium Elise! Thanks to singlefin for taking good care of her while she was his, and vulcangrey for trading off highway segments to get her home. I would also like to thank coffee, cheerios snack mix, vitamin water, frappachino, power bars, and dr. pepper for making this possible.

Here are a few photos I took on a brief pit stop in Cove Fort Utah as the sun was setting.

Its not usually a photogenic color but it is sharp with a hardtop and in person.

Nice pics OP.

Very nice pictures!

What does the rear view look like from inside the cabin? That looks like the GUT wing, but I would think that would significantly block your rearward visibility. Do you have a picture showing the view?

Here is a view of the rear wing (taken on our drive back to CO Saturday), it is a GUT wing, and it does block alot of the view, though it is good at blocking headlights.

The tint is 28%

and here are some more shots I took

I bought my 2005 SY elsie the exact same way! 1 way ticket, remote bank, and the thrilling first drive home! Bought mine in LA and took 2 days to get her home. It was such a great experience and leaves a lasting memory! Very cool- congrats on the purchase.

looks like a fun canyon! Excellent for the Elise. Is this the canyon just outside of Mesquite Nevada as you duck into Arizona for a 10 minutes and come out through Saint George Utah? It looks very familiar as I drove this brining mine back from LA

What a great adventure - congratulations -

NOW - let the mods begin

One of the best things about the Elise / Exige is the joy of making it your own one of a kind dream ride. A never ending process, by the way...

Best Wishes -

Thanks everyone!
tko211-yes, that's the same canyon!

I've already got some small tweaks and ideas to make her mine, plus I have about 1100 miles of bugs to clean off her! ;-)
