New Aspen White Elise SC owner

Just picked up my twelve month old Elise SC a couple of days ago, and spent the weekend hooning around the countryside with a big grin on my face. White, with the contrasting black lightweight wheels, is a great combination...

I spent a long time umming and arring about replacing my old car (an '07 Honda S2000) but eventually took the plunge. Although I was sorry to see the S2000 go, the Elise is a fantastic replacement. The steering is a revelation compared to the S, and I can't believe the attention it gets (although the Stage 3 exhaust might be responsible for some of that!)

Things I like so far:
Roadholding, steering
It looks absolutely gorgeous
The minimalist interior
The hood isn't as awkward to use as I thought it would be!

Things I'm not so keen on:
The gearchange is really not up to the rest of the car and is definitely inferior to the S2000. I've read that this can be improved with a gear linkage kit, but I'm not sure if this only applies to earlier K Series Cars. Any advice?

The boot prop! Is there a gas strut aftermarket kit?

No clock, and that's about it!

This looks like a really useful forum, I'll post some pictures of the new car as soon as I've figured how to upload them...

Shouldn't there be a clock on the radio? Shifter feel should also be improved w/ stiffer motor mounts.
