So do the new elises have the duct tape bonus in the boot as well?

I, too, am in a state requiring front plates. Mine is sitting in the boot sandwiched between the battery cover and the front wall of the boot. I have 4 zip ties with it just in case I get pulled over for no front plate. I can quickly zip tie the plate to the front grill if needed.

Some folks have used magnets, fabbed their own mounts, etc.
