Just wanted to say hi. In the market for a elise (used) in the the very near future (possibly taking a look at one and buying one tomorrow) and I am in the socal (san diego) area. Anyone near or close by to mentor me in helping me in choosing/inspecting one? I read the buyers thread on what to look for, but I am always down to learn from a guru.

I used to drive a subie Impreza 2.5rs gc8 body style (hence the screen name Impreza619).... Good car but i think i reached the pinnacle/endpoint on suspension and brake modifications, and decided to sell. Im really oldschool on rs25.com, nasioc, i-club, awdjunkies, scoobymods just to name a few. I am a suspension/brake/wheel junkie I know handling is what this car is known for....cough....aside from its good looks.

I know the subie community forums became one of the best sources for info on anything subaru, and this site looks like it shares that same bond of helping other lotus owners.

Hi....welcome.....there are a zillion owners in the SD area. It should be pretty easy to find them. Check out when the next autocross in that area is. Some always show up.....
