Smile Total newbie

hi all
have had my elise for 2 weeks
still can not get the grin of my face.

one question
it dose have a small crack and some chipped paint on the front bumber. any way to fix that? or is that a new calm shell?

Congrats on your new ride!

Send a pict - I had a small crack/chip issue when I got mine 6 mos ago. That would help us all in giving advice. There are lots of threads on cracks to the clam and repairs. If its small, its probably just a DIY job...but "officially" its a $10K or whatever replacement clam...so lets just hope its small

p.s. he actually called it a "bumber", not a "bumper"...so I'll let him slide on this one!

A cracked clam is more like a "bummer" in my eyes...

...the front winglets and license plate plinth are commonly scarred or cracked on these cars due to ground clearance incidents...clam replacements generally aren't necessary for this sort of minor damage: a good reasonably-priced fiberglass shop should be able to repair and repaint the entire nose for around $1500..
