Bad Idea

Cart Champ Cars attempted to do the same thing, bring "music" along to each event -- last ditch attempt to salvage a fan base ... it didn't work. In fact, many series have attempted to bring "music" with racing and all have failed or stopped doing so.

I think these are the first signs of desperation in a racing series.

Maybe it's an attempt by the venue to make some more $, since Berney is so stingy!

ummmm....its nothing new, at the Singapore race last year there was 3 or 4 stages with bands playing on them the whole time pretty much, I thought it was dumb but some people there seemed to enjoy it. They just didn't use the fancy name. I think its just a way to entertain more people if there are events on track that they arent interested in. They are just stepping it up a notch with bigger names and more publicity around it.
