Just days after announcing that Tony Fernandes would spearhead Lotus's return to Formula One as the team's boss, the Malaysian aviation entrepreneur has said he has no intention of staying in the position for very long.

I like this, it makes me think that this team will have a good chance at success, keeping egos at bay is always good. I was worried about this guy to be honest, what does he know about running an F1 team. But clearly he feels the same way..NICE!

That would be interesting. Todt actually has a Lotus connection. He was the co-driver for Guy Frequelin in a Talbot Lotus Sunbeam the year they won the World Rally Championship.
