Jean Todt new FIA president

I was hoping it'll be Ari, but...
Don't know how impartial Jean Todt could be. He's a Ferrari man.

That was absolutely predictable. Now we can be sure of a bevy of new rules to insure that the "proper" team remains constructor's champion in Formula Ferrari....Dave

I had a feeling that it won't go in Ari's favor when he was taking FIA to court to " assure that election is fair", but later dropped the suit.
The fact that Max was supporting Jean speaks volumes IMO.

That's too bad IMO, I think the FIA really needed some new blood and Ari Vatenan would be more likely to have brought that.

But, if it's done it's done, let's hope that Jean Todt proves us wrong and is not a Max Moseley mouthpiece.

Well he certainly knows how to run a successful operation. He proved this at Ferrari and before.

Nobody doubts his ability to run an operation, the question is can he be impartial after so many years in Ferrari?
Interesting, who the big boys in FIA (McLaren, Brown, etc...) voted for?
